'You are morally wrong to do that and are only doing it because it benefits you.' Simon Jordan reacts to Eddie Hearn's plans for Conor Benn
After being removed from the WBC rankings,after the WBC stated ‘there was no conclusive evidence that Mr Benn engaged in intentional or knowing ingestion of Clomiphene.’
This came after providing a 270-page document that proved his innocence, something he didn’t provide to the British Boxing Board of Control , before voluntarily giving up his licence with the UK’s governing body.As things stand, that means Benn won’t be able to fight in the UK until his licence is reinstated, meaning any fight at this stage would need to take place overseas.
Asked about who Benn could fight next, Hearn went on: “I will look at fights for Conor Benn and I will make a decision on where that fight will take place. “I will also actively speak to Conor and the British Boxing Board of Control about going through the process to ensure he gets a fair hearing and he tries to be able to box in this country.
