This has not been a great time for the Texas Rangers, 10-3 winners over the Jays on Monday night at Rogers Centre, in front of an announced crowd of 23,451. There’s only a few weeks to play in the season. The Jays and Rangers are fighting for whatever life either may have left in this playoff fight and Toronto, the city, was so excited by the magnitude of the event that just about everybody stayed home and watched Aaron Rodgers get hurt on television.
He was asked if he could explain the Blue Jays before the game and even afterward he was complimentary – as was the former Jay, Marcus Semien, who probably had his greatest season as a big leaguer while playing in Toronto in 2021.
