UPDATE | A Silver Alert for a woman missing from Kokomo was canceled after she was found dead in a ditch.
According to a press release from the Howard County Sheriff's Office, Stroup and her dog were found dead in a ditch in the 1700 block of North Reed Road .Detectives are still investigating and anyone with information is asked to call 765-614-3475.KOKOMO — A Silver Alert has been declared for a missing woman last seen Thursday morning in Kokomo.
She was last seen around 3:45 a.m. in Kokomo wearing burgundy pajamas with hearts on them, according to the alert. She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. The sheriff's office said they verified a top that she was last seen around 2 a.m. walking west in Morgan Street approaching State Road 931. Ground crews used tools, including a bloodhound from the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office, but weren't able to locate her.
