Aiden J. Scott, 15, is wanted by police on charges of aggravated assault, prohibited possession of a firearm and reckless endangerment.toward a 15-year-old male victim in a wooded area along railroad tracks in Coal Township. The victim was struck in the chest and was flown to the hospital for emergency treatment.
Scott is being charged as an adult in the shooting and is still wanted by police. The department says he is considered to be armed and dangerous. According to police, Scott resides in Shamokin where he has family and friends, and is believed to be in the area. He also has friends and family in Philadelphia.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Coal Township Police Department or to call 911 immediately. Authorities are also reminding the public that anyone harboring or assisting Scott in eluding authorities and apprehension can face criminal penalties.
