"He walked in … that's what he said. He looked through the door," Shepherd recalled. "Don't act like you don't remember. It was just me and Joy … 'Don't tell nobody.' And the next day, Barbara walks in and you .""But you say to Barbara, 'So, you're Richard Pryor, huh?'" Shepherd added. "She turned around. You know Barbara's head would swivel like that.
Opening up about her friendship with Walters earlier this year, Shepherd recalled how fun-filled dinners with her former colleague — and the racy subject matter they'd discuss.. I think that not enough people really got to see what a bawdy sense of humor Barbara had," Shepherd toldin January, shortly after Walters' death.
Shepherd added, "We would talk and laugh. Literally, we could talk about sex all day long — she had advice for days.
