Hedman will be a game-time decision while the Leafs coach offered nothing more than a firm “maybe” when asked if there would be any lineup changes.
The Lightning, of course, are hoping defenceman Victor Hedman can return to the lineup. He missed most of Game 1 and all of Game 2 with an undisclosed injury but took the morning skate on Saturday.
“He’ll be a game-time decision,” said Lightning coach Jon Cooper. “Cross our fingers, hopefully he’ll be ready to go.” The Leafs’ situation is a bit more intriguing, with coach Sheldon Keefe offering nothing more than a firm “maybe” when asked if there would be any lineup changes. “You try to keep improving every single game,” said Keefe. “That’s what’s required. You can’t take a step back.”
It would be unusual to change a winning lineup, but of course there may be an undisclosed injury at play. Or Keefe may be looking to find a way to bring defenceman
