Vidal plays a tough but sweet single mom raising her teenage son, Rafa, the main character of the series.That bumbling band of brothers would be Rafa’s five uncles, who just want to do right by their favorite nephew but go about it so wrong.
When Serrano first pitched “Primo,” executive producer Mike Schur, who’s known for the shows “Parks and Recreation” and “The Good Place,” said he pictured a story about a kid who does not have“And the balance became he’s got five dads and one mom, and the mom is stronger than all the five dads put together,” Schur said.
