The newest Shang-Chi 2 update continues the most frustrating MCU pattern that began in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame and Marvel's Phase 4.
The newest update for Marvel Studios' Shang-Chi 2 is rather frustrating, continuing an annoying MCU trend that began in the aftermath of Avengers: Endgame. A persistent problem in the recently concluded Phase 4 and now the start of Phase 5, Marvel has fallen into the bad habit of debuting new heroes and events with next to no confirmed follow-up. As such, the latest update regarding Shang-Chi 2 sadly continues this ongoing issue for the MCU and its ongoing Multiverse Saga.

To that end, it's become part of a quite frustrating trend seen in both Phase 4 and the beginning of Phase 5. New MCU characters are introduced only to be left hanging for an indefinite amount of time with no mention or appearances elsewhere either in crossovers or in sequels.
