Shakira loves Family Guy so much she asked Seth MacFarlane to help with an English translation of one of her biggest songs
Hot Ones is a place for hot gossip, and the latest guest Shakira just dropped a spicy tidbit: she loves Family Guy . She loves Family Guy so much, she reached out to creator Seth MacFarlane to help out with a translation of her 2009 hit “She Wolf.” The track was released in Spanish under the title “Loba,” but apparently the Colombian artist felt like she could use MacFarlane’s pen for the English-language version.
“I wasn’t too sure about me writing the lyrics in English, and I reached out to Sia, and I asked her to write the lyrics in English for me,” she told the outlet, which makes sense! Outside of her own hits, Sia has written songs for stars like Rihanna, Beyoncé, Britney Spears, and a host of other artists. However, “I also reached out to Seth MacFarlane,” she added.
