VCs and the onslaught of news surrounding the buyout and what will happen next to Twitter, downtown San Francisco and the internet at large, there is an overwhelming amount of information to keep up with.
“Twitter’s current lords & peasants system for who has or doesn’t have a blue checkmark is bulls—t,” he tweeted. “Power to the people!” With a blue check, Musk boasts, you can get “priority in replies, mentions & search,” fewer ads, longer audio and video posts. For what it’s worth, a Hulu ad-supported subscription costs about that much and lets you rewatch classics like “Frasier” and “Golden Girls.
