STOCK IMAGE - SaltWire NetworkSYDNEY, N.S. — A Victoria County man who uninvitedly hugged a female golf course worker and then patted her buttocks has been sentenced to complete a one-year probation period., 75, of McKinnons Harbour, was sentenced after being convicted of sexual assault that occurred July 11, 2021.
The incident occurred in the course’s canteen when Morris came to the take-out window, asked for a bottle of water and then came around to the side of the building. In passing sentence, Ross said that no sexual assault should be considered trivial and Morris’ action on that day was wrong and caused real harm to another person.
