Notice issued for second day in a row; Medium chance of rain or thunderstorms this afternoon
"Conditions are favourable for the development of severe thunderstorms that may be capable of producing strong wind gusts and large hail," Environment Canada said in a notice issued this morning.Environment Canada is forecasting a medium chance of showers or thunderstorms starting at about 2 p.m. and lasting into the evening.
On Wednesday, the city was hit with a deluge of rain and rolling thunder during the late afternoon and a few hours after Environment Canada issued a similar notice.
