Several people were hospitalized this morning after separate fires sparked at homes across the Valley. Sadly, one dog also died in a Phoenix fire.

— Scottsdale Fire Department April 24, 2023 In Scottsdale, fire crews responded to a home near Scottsdale Road and McDonald Drive to battle a fire.He was taken to a hospital burn unit with life-threatening injuries, according to the Scottsdale Fire Department. The man's wife was evaluated and is reported to have non-life-threatening injuries.In north Phoenix, firefighters rescued a woman from a mobile home fire near 32nd Street and Union Hills Drive.
When crews arrived they found a fire in the back of the residence. They made entry inside and performed a search and rescue. Phoenix Fire officials said a woman was treated at the scene with basic life support measures and taken to a hospital burn unit for further treatment.Early this morning Glendale and @PHXFire crews battled a duplex fire with heavy involvement, power lines down and natural gas meter burning. One patient was transported and 14 residents are displaced. No firefighter injuries. pic.twitter.
