Lloyd N. Morrisett, co-creator of Sesame Street, has passed away at the age of 93. Conceived by television writer Joan Ganz Cooney and psychologist Morrisett, Sesame Street first premiered in November 1969 and has since become one of the most popular children's television programs of all time. Praised for its combination of educational material and lovable characters, the series is currently in season 53 and has over 4,500 episodes.
