Police are asking the public for help locating Sergio Andrew Garcia, a 21-year-old wanted in connection with attacks on at least six women in the Los Angeles area.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said 67-year-old Rosalina Martinez was in her yard in the 1000 block of Fraser Avenue at about 6:15 a.m. when she was approached from behind by Garcia.
Martinez told the station that her entire body hurts after the attack. She was left with two black eyes and a neck brace. She told KTLA that she believes Garcia wanted to rape her. Garcia allegedly stuck the woman in the face multiple times, causing her to fall to the ground and lose consciousness.About 15 minutes later, police said he sexually assaulted another woman while she was rummaging through the trunk of her car in the 1300 block of South Burlington Avenue.
