The incident occurred on Aug. 1, with police alleging that various offences were committed.
Shortly before 12 noon that day, demonstrators forced their way into the embassy on Kent Street in Centretown and, according to a police statement Wednesday, committed offences including assault, mischief over $5000, forcible entry and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.The statement said police also wished to speak with anyone who was involved in or witnessed the incidents, asking them to call the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, ext. 5166.
