is opening up about her health on social media — and shutting down body shamers at the same time.
In an Instagram post this weekend, Mandy revealed that she’s received several comments about her body since appearing on the cover ofmagazine this month alongside daughters Selena Gomez and Daniella Pierson. She posted one DM she received, which came from a user selling a weight loss program, noting that this was one of the more “polite” messages as opposed to name calling.
“So, yesterday was a beautiful day for many reasons filled with personal attacks,” she continued. “I’m healthy and I will work on myself at my pace. It’s a miracle I am here and could care less if that means I’m a 16 instead of an 8. Much love to everyone.”Mandy’s vulnerable post comes just days after she, Selena, and Daniella announced their new organization, Wondermind.
