Continuing her statement, Gomez added that she didn’t feel that voicing her opinions online would help solve any problems. “I’m sorry if my words will never be enough for everyone or a hashtag. I just can’t stand by innocent people getting hurt. That’s what makes me sick,” she continued. “I wish I could change the world. But a post won’t. Love, Selena.”
In a follow-up Instagram Story posted three hours later, the Rare Beauty mogul uploaded a baby picture of her younger sister with the caption, “Having a sister, everyday has made me tragically sick. I would do anything for children and innocent lives.”regarding her social media activity.
