“We have eight projectors over the ice. Then, we have four projectors that hit the north wall, which is unique,” the Seattle Kraken VP of live entertainment and game presentation said as he gazed out at images from multiple cameras stationed within the building. “It’s crazy that everything becomes a competition,” says Buford. “It’s always something that we always want to go knock down a peg or two because they need that.
“You won’t see the same open with the players swapped like it was last year," said Buford, who won a regional Emmy in June for his production of the Kraken opening show last season. "We’re going more of the approach of chapters this year. We will have four chapters that put together with the season."
