Hunter Lewis became a student pilot during the pandemic. He went missing in Trinidad Harbor, Calif., on Jan. 30 while setting up an elaborate treasure hunt via canoe.while finalizing a treasure hunt has now been called off, his father announced Monday in a Facebook post.
Hunter Lewis, a 21-year-old junior at California State University Long Beach, had returned to his home in Humboldt County over the Christmas holiday. The adventurous student had created an elaborate three-day treasure hunt involving the “lost Lewis treasure” for his friends and family.
