Video evidence from Alex Murdaugh's crime scene was mistakenly sent to Netflix, which required a judge's intervention in order to keep them sealed.

Sheriff's Office wasn't properly labeled as sealed exhibits when inventoried during the trial, a source with knowledge of the situation told News 4.
Alex Murdaugh is led out of the Colleton County courthouse after receiving a double life sentence on Friday, March 3, 2023. Murdaugh was convicted yesterday of the murders of his wife, Maggie, and son, Paul in 2021.of murdering his 52-year-old wife, Maggie, and younger son, Paul, 22, and he was sentenced to life in prison.
"I know you have to see Paul and Maggie during the nighttimes when you’re attempting to go to sleep. I’m sure they come and visit you. I’m sure," the judge said.
