Former Jets Geno Smith, Laken Tomlinson, and Leonard Williams will be three of Seattle’s four captains for Week 13.
The Seattle Seahawks have named their Week 13 captains, and three of them played for the opposing New York Jets at various points in time. Seattle went with four captains this time - one more than last week - with quarterback Geno Smith, offensive guard Laken Tomlinson, defensive end Leonard Williams, and punter Michael Dickson earning the nods for Sunday’s game.
Before signing with the Seahawks in April, Tomlinson spent the last two seasons on New York’s offensive line. Between 2022 and 2023, Tomlinson started all 34 of the team’s games, recovering two fumbles last year. Tomlinson has not missed a start since 2017, earning a Pro Bowl selection in 2021 while with the 49ers. Williams began his NFL career with the Jets back in 2015, being drafted sixth overall out of the University of Southern California.
