The Seahawks are 2-0 on the season after their win in Foxborough, how did our rookies play?
It was a close win for the Seattle Seahawks, just as we anticipated in the preview. There’s a lot of room for improvement, but now it’s time to fix those issues with a 2-0 start. Let’s take a look at the good and bad from the game with our rookie class of 2024. Byron Murphy played 38 defensive snaps. He was the second interior defensive lineman with the most snaps, behind only Leonard Williams, who had 52. He had 4 tackles, 0.5 sack, 1 TFL, 4 pressures .
After Jerome Baker played 21 snaps , Knight got his chance to play for the first time, totaling 44 snaps. He was third on the team in tackles, with 7 , of which six were for 2 yards or less. While he was second on the team in tackles with 81 , he was credited with the second-worst coverage rating with 41.3, giving up 55 yards on 4 of 5 targets. I disagree a little with this rating, because he was “targeted” on the 35-yard screen run.
