The images show how Glasgow has changed over the years
A Scottish photographer has shared a series of photos taken around Glasgow's southside that showcase 'then and now' images of the city.
Among the southside spots that Gillanders captured are the Royal Samaritan Hospital, the Govanhill Library, and the old Crosshill Railway Station. While the library looks very similar today, it is fascinating to see how the other buildings have changed. Meanwhile, Gillanders' photo of the old Crosshill Railway Station shows how different the building once looked. It was once a fully constructed stone building with a roof, while now there is just a simple path that leads to the platforms.
Before long, the post had received nearly 200 likes from fellow Facebook users. Many also left comments sharing their thoughts on the "marvellous" pictures.
