Vandaad Fardi was just five when he decided to donate his locks to be made into a wig for a child who had lost their hair during treatment
A big-hearted Scots schoolboy who defied bullies to grow his hair long and help cancer-stricken kids has had the chop after three years.
“It’s been hard for him but he was so excited to go to school and show off his new hair to his friends.” Vandaad told the Record it had been “very hard” to endure being picked on over his hair but said it would “all be worth it” when a child gets their wig.
