The 13-strong committee is made up of both criminal and civil professionals with unparalleled experience
The pioneering legal project is the brainchild of the charity's board and chairman Colin McInnes, who believes the wealth of knowledge the panel will bring can be key to its development and growth.
“This is a ground-breaking initiative for us and will really allow us to take the charity to the next level. Others on the committee are the part-time sheriff and advocate John Halley, Dean of the Glasgow Faculty Roddy Dunlop and solicitor advocate Rosemary Guinnane.She has more than 30 years of experience in a wide range of civil and criminal litigation and regularly appears at Glasgow Sheriff Court, the Court of Session and the city’s High Court. She has also appeared as leading counsel in the UK Supreme Court arguing about the European Convention on Human Rights in relation to the rights of fathers.
