James Lundrigan and Ian McMillan will serve as chair and vice chair, respectively, on the board of trustees for Science North. They have each been appointed for a three-year term, effective immediately.

“Science North is extremely fortunate to benefit from both Jim and Ian's leadership. In addition to being enthusiastic champions of the work we do, Jim and Ian both bring a wealth of experience and insight to their new roles,” said Ashley Larose, CEO, Science North. “We are also indebted to our outgoing chair, Dr. Stephen Kosar who steered our organization during a period of significant growth and change.

Lundrigan was also a longtime volunteer for Ducks Unlimited Canada and Rayside Balfour minor hockey. He is a father of three grown children and has one grandchild. Lundrigan resides in Chelmsford with Lynne, his wife of 32 years, states a release from Science North. McMillan is president of consulting firm McMillan Tourism Management and currently working as an international marketing specialist with Destination Northern Ontario.
