On Friday, April 12, 2024, The Gonzales County Sheriff's Office received a call from the Nixon Smiley Independent School District Principal, who had reported a 10-year-old male student had threatened to assault and kill another student on the school bus. The school district had conducted a threat assessment on the student and as a result, reached out to the Sheriff's Office.
He stated he was visiting his grandfather at this house on Sunday, January 16, 2022. The child's grandfather and Rasberry lived in the same RV park a few spots apart.
