Supporters of Drag Storytime made signs and gathered outside the library while children enjoyed stories and activities inside

It was a peaceful morning both outside and inside the Sault Ste. Marie Public Library North Branch on Saturday as drag storytellers Luke Gore-Shadow and Fortune Favours returned with another installment of Drag Storytime.

On the reading list today were child-friendly works such as Princesses versus Dinosaurs, Little Bunny Foo Foo, Prince and Knight, and The Book with No Pictures. Around a dozen story time supporters made signs and gathered outside the North Branch location to provide story time organizers and attendees with words of encouragement.

Unlike the Drag Storytime held at the downtown library in January, Saturday’s hour-long reading was not met with protesters.
