Colin Jost appears on a"Weekend Update" segment with Sarah Sherman. Jost's summer stand-up tour is coming to The Majestic Theatre.Colin Jost is getting out from behind the “Weekend Update” anchor desk to do a stand-up comedy tour this summer.
Jost will be at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on June 16. Presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday at tickemaster.com with the code COLINFAN; tickets, starting at $39.50, go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Friday. A Harvard graduate, Jost served as editor of the Harvard Lampoon before joining the “Saturday Night Live” writing room in 2005. He became the “Weekend Updtate” co-anchor in 2014, first with Cecily Strong and then starting the following season with Michael Che. He also has served as a head writer on the show.Jost, who is married to actress Scarlett Johansson, published a memoir in 2020 titled “A Very Punchable Face.
