At a certain age, you go vintage shopping in your own closet.”

And as the curly-haired columnist-turned-podcaster would surely agree, there’s no reason to tone down how you dress over the decades.“I don’t think that there is such a thing as ‘dressing for one’s age,'” Bushnell said. “One has an inherent style, and it really comes down to what you feel comfortable in. I think if you can wear it, flaunt it.

“And the great thing is, as you get older, you feel more comfortable with your style. When you’re younger, you try a lot of different styles — some of them work, some don’t. When you get to be older, you know what works.”“My fashion and beauty philosophy is: Just remember, we’re all only getting older,” she quipped. “Enjoy where you are now and try not to be too critical.”
