Police said Levesque is alleged to have assaulted the suspect during the arrest, but the accused wasn’t injured. A public complaint was later filed and led to charges of assault against the officer, the police statement said.Article content Saskatoon Police Association president Chris Rhodes said in a separate statement that the association can’t comment on the specific circumstances while the legal process is underway. The union represents members of the Saskatoon Police Service.
