Saskatchewan police officer seriously injured by suspect during incident at local police station
Authorities were investigating Wednesday after a police officer was seriously injured on the job in southeastern Saskatchewan.
It said in a statement the officer was transported by STARS air ambulance to hospital in Regina and was in stable condition.The Saskatchewan Serious Incident Response Team said on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, that it was deployed to an officer-involved shooting in Estevan. It did not say how the officer was injured.
