Fashion superstar and longtime New York City Ballet supporter Sarah Jessica Parker took this trend exactly where we it deserved to be flaunted tonight—the New York City Ballet's 2023 Fall Gala red carpet, Black Swan style.

Dressed in a demurely dark Wes Gordon design from Carolina Herrera's fall/winter 2023 ready-to-wear collection, her accessories included a pair of mismatched SJP Collection shoes, Fred Leighton jewelry, and an oversized floor-skimming black bow. Parker is known for her love of grosgrain ribbon , so that's what our money is on for the ribbon type. The finishing touch for her look was short black nails.
