I’ve been buying Sandy’s collection from the beginning. She has a very distinct point of view that has always resonated with our customers and is very in line with the vibe of our emerging designer section. Her line is so her: cool and fun.
One T-shirt in particular is close to Liang’s heart; it’s printed with the logo of Chinatown’s Lucky King Bakery and Liang’s name in Chinese. “The bakery is my local go-to when I’m in the mood for a milk tea or some classic buns,” Liang says. “It’s so old school and immediately makes me think of my mom.” She adds, “I feel like I’m seeing fewer and fewer bakeries like this, which is such a shame.
