Tanechia Turner, 24, of Sandusky, has been charged with child endangering and corrupting another with drugs.
SANDUSKY, Ohio — A Sandusky woman is facing criminal charges after her 4-year-old daughter became ill after eating marijuana edibles following a night of trick-or-treating.
According to the report, officers were called to a home at about 1:30 p.m. Tuesday on a report that a child had eaten marijuana edibles. When police arrived, a worker from Peds on Wheels was at the home and was giving medical aid to the girl, who reportedly was unconscious. Police say Turner said that after trick-or-treating Monday night, she returned home with her daughter and gave the girl a bath. Turner said she then took a shower. When she finished showering, Turner said she noticed her daughter’s eyes were red, she was acting unusual and seemed to be hallucinating.
