A police sergeant was sacked from his post after he was caught verbally abusing a call center agent whom he accused of cutting the line in an eatery in San Juan City.
The video footage of the incident, surreptitiously taken via a smartphone, went viral and led to the identification of the policeman, Master Sergeant Arnulfo Ardales, assigned to the Police Community Precinct 3 of San Juan City.
“I already ordered his relief. He will be reassigned to the District Headquarters Support Unit,” said Eleazar. San Juan City Police chief Colonel Ariel Fulo said in a report that the police officer was purchasing food at the store.That triggered Ardales where he began shouting profanity towards the victim.
At one point, Andales has asked for Estrada’s ID and attempted to take the victim with him to the blaring police mobile parked outside the store.Before leaving the store, Ardales said that he had “marked” Estrada.“We should learn lesson from here. Dapat ma remind tayo na public servant tayo,” Eleazar said.
