A student has been detained for posting a social media threat to two of the district’s high schools, officials said.

“Our SAISD Police Department identified and apprehended the SAISD student who originated the social media activity implying harm against the Brackenridge and Highlands high school campuses,” SAISD spokesperson Laura Short said in a statement.The district did not identify the student or say if charges were pending.
