Salt Lake City police safely located a missing 15-year-old girl Monday after searching for her since Saturday.
Police had said the girl was last seen in downtown Salt Lake City on Friday night, but on Monday said the girl was last seen in Sugar House. The child was in Salt Lake City for treatment and did not have medication with her, police advised.
Police on Sunday shared a photo of the girl with an unidentified man whom authorities said had been the last known person seen with the girl. But investigators later made contact with him, and shared that he was cooperating with the investigation and not considered a suspect. On Monday morning, police announced that the girl had been found and was being reunited with her parents.
