Russia has 21 days to respond to WADA’s ban; if it objects, the Court of Arbitration for Sport will make a final decision., and the country’s own anti-doping agency is expected to meet December 19 and determine whether to accept WADA’s ban. In order to compete in 2020, Russia’s neutral athletes will have to prove their lab results have not been altered and that they have not participated in doping.
