Jesus Abel Lugo-Alcala, 44, received 20 years in prison for the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child.Rosenberg man Jesus Abel Lugo-Alcala, 44, received 20 years in prison for the offense of aggravated sexual assault of a child, the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office said in a Friday news release.
In September 2018, one child revealed to a school counselor that they had been sexually abused by someone close to their family. The school authorities informed the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office, and an investigation was immediately launched. The child’s family had known Lugo-Alcala for a short time. The child disclosed acts of sexual abuse and identified the defendant as the assailant, leading to his arrest in November 2019.
