Police were alerted to the incident just before 12:30 p.m. on Aug. 31. The rope was removed before officers arrived, but photos of the rope and its location have led investigators to believe the rope was meant to be a noose. Investigators ask anyone with information or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020 or tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 800-222-8477.
