Rockets' Kevin Porter Jr., Alperen Sengun questionable for Warriors game
Kevin Porter Jr. was upgraded to questionable after missing Friday's game while Alperen Sengun is also questionable for Sunday's game vs. Golden State.Rockets guard Kevin Porter Jr. on Sunday was upgraded from doubtful to questionable to play against the Golden State Warriors after missing Friday’s game with a sore left lower back.“I’m feeling better,” Porter said. “Basically, we’ve been having a lot of treatment, trying to get ready.
“You never want to miss games,” Porter said. “I love being out there with my guys. But I had an opportunity to sit back and watch from a different perspective. You definitely get to see the game a little more. It slows down for you. You get to see some reads that you typically miss being on the floor that you see being off the floor. You try to make the best of it. You miss the game, but you get something out of it, for sure.
Porter is one of 10 NBA players averaging 19 points, six rebounds, five assists and one steal. He averaged 15 points and 8.7 assists against Golden State last season and said he especially looks forward to matchups with the Warriors’ star Stephen Curry.
