The Big Picture One of the most extreme and controversial horror movies of the 1980s is getting a remake. Robert Pattinson and Parker Finn are attached to a remake of 1981's Possession. The Hollywood Reporter has the news that Pattinson will produce the film, and may also star in it.
What Is 'Possession' About? Close Possession centers around the deteriorating marriage between international spy Mark and his wife, Anna , in 1980s West Berlin. What happens next is difficult to quantify, as it may or may not be taking place in Anna's fractured psyche, but it seems to involve doppelgängers, murder, and most infamously, Anna developing an intimate relationship with a multi-tentacled Lovecraftian creature.
