Residents of 44th Street and Myrtle Avenue in San Diego are relieved as road work finally begins on their street, improving the condition of the road and making it safer for drivers.
SAN DIEGO — It’s a sign people around 44th Street and Myrtle Avenue have been waiting to see: road work on their street.
This road might be getting much-needed work. But, the San Diego City Council is getting a better understanding of where the City’s roads stand. The plan shows the scale to assess street pavement conditions - which is called a pavement condition index or PCI.
