The self-healing wrap is worth $5,000, and adds a satin finish to the paint color it covers
Rivian has introduced a factory body protection wrap called Stealth by XPEL. Made of a self-healing material, it protects paint and offers vehicles a satin finish. Valued at $5,000, Rivian is offering the wrap for free on select configurations through the end of April. Sometimes, the demands of both function and design align perfectly, benefiting everyone involved. Rivian 's latest product exemplifies this harmony.
To offer as much protection as possible, Rivian folds the material over any body panel edges that can be accessed without removal. Everywhere else, the film extends to within 1 mm of the edge of the panel. The Stealth PPF material is also self-healing, so any fine scratches or swirl marks that appear on it will disappear once the wrap is exposed to heat. Unfortunately, the wrap is only available on select colors.
