When both he and Davis are against a plan, no one can claim they’re “Remoaners” defying the will of the people. They are instead rightly focusing on the legal quagmire that could result from pulling out of the Convention.
It would also suggest that the UK can’t actually produce a working policy to control its borders without suggesting European judges were responsible every time.
