He is expected to say it is essential countries stick to commitments made at the Cop26 summit hosted by the UK in Glasgow, if it is to limit warming to 1.5C above pre-industrial levels and avoid the worst impacts of climate change.The Tory leader also met with Italy’s new far-right leader Giorgia Meloni
The prime minister is expected to urge world leaders to renew pledges made at last year’s Cop26 in Glasgow, with the UK committing £200million to protect forests and invest in green technologies.
