“I’m going to give it all away sooner or later. I’m going to help her, transfer it to a super PAC,” Shelby told Politico.
Politico reported Shelby is gearing up to transfer as much of $6 million of his money to a super PAC backing Britt. Britt has received an endorsement from her former boss, and Shelby injecting his campaign money into the race will give her a boost as she faces Rep. Mo Brooks, the Republican congressman from Huntsville who is supported by Donald Trump, and former businessman and retired “Black Hawk Down” Army pilot Mike Durant in the GOP primary.
