Development plans ongoing
Prince Edward County’s Planning and Development Committee has recommended the rezoning of land in Wellington to allow for two apartment buildings with a total of 104 units.
The property involved is east of Consecon Street and just north of the Millennium Trail and is a part of a subdivision formerly known as the Fields of Wellington. Council will make a final decision on the rezoning at its next meeting. Meanwhile the planning committee has recommended a two year extension for food trucks to operate at Wellington Rotary Beach. Should council approve the recommendation staff will issue a request for proposals for up to two food trucks to operate at the beach.
